Clive Carver (aged 49) Non-Executive Chairman

Clive Carver qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers and Lybrand in London in 1986. Since then, he has focused on the corporate finance and corporate broking arena, including working for Kleinwort Benson and Price Waterhouse Corporate Finance. He spent five years at Seymour Pierce, where he was a director and head of corporate finance and five years at Williams de Broe, where he was head of corporate finance and corporate sales. At Williams de Broe he led the team floating and fund raising for a number of natural resource companies.

Clive Carver is a qualified corporate treasurer and is director and head of corporate finance at FinnCap.

David Wilkes (aged 47) Chief Executive Officer

David joined the Roxi board on 1 October 2009 as CFO, and has since been appointed CEO effective 1 January 2010. David has over 25 years commercial experience, including eight years as Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Kazakhstan, nine years of practice in London, 18 months in Moscow and six years in Portugal. He was instrumental in developing the oil and gas sector specialization of Ernst & Young in Kazakhstan, having served the State oil and gas company KazMunaiGaz since its inception in 1997, when he also first arrived in Kazakhstan. His other Kazakh based oil and gas clients included Karakudukmunai, Kazakhoil Aktobe, Zhaikmunai and TenginzChevroil's operation at Tengiz. During his term in Kazakhstan, the Ernst & Young office grew from 25 professionals to a firm of over 400 professionals, including 14 partners, serving some of the leading enterprises in Kazakhstan.

He was also the Chairman of the Kazakhstan Foreign Investors Council for two and a half years, where he was responsible for the co-ordination of the bi-annual plenary session between the 25 CEO's of the largest foreign investors in Kazakhstan and the President of Kazakhstan, as well as acting as moderator for the foreign side discussion for the plenary session itself. He was also on the board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan for 6 years.

Kuat Rafikuly Oraziman (aged 47) Executive Director

Mr. Oraziman has nearly 20 years of business experience in Kazakhstan and abroad and nearly 10 years of oil and gas experience in Kazakhstan. Mr. Oraziman’s experience has included the operation of import and export businesses, the establishment and operation of an international brewery in Kazakhstan, and as the Kazakhstan representative of Phillips and Stork. Since 1991 Kuat Oraziman has been a director of ADA OIL LLP a joint venture oil and gas partnership with LG International which owns and operates exploration and production oil and gas assets located in Kazakhstan. Kuat Oraziman also holds a doctorate in science and is a trained geologist.

Duncan McDougall (aged 51) Technical Director

Mr McDougall has 25 years international experience of exploration, appraisal, and development of oilfields in a variety of environments. He began his career in the North Sea with Charterhouse Petroleum and BP Exploration as exploration and development geologist. For the past 15 years, he has been advising, through his firm Saxford Limited, a large variety of companies on the purchase and development of oil and gas assets in Africa, Europe, the Far East and Asia, with the large majority in the Former Soviet Union region.

Edmund Pery, Earl of Limerick (aged 47) Non-Executive Director

Edmund Limerick has been involved in Central Asia and financing the oil and gas business for the last 18 years. He is a manager of the Altima Central Asia Fund which has invested in private equity in the oil sector in many countries in the region, and prior to that he spent many years in Deutsche Bank as a project financier and senior oil and gas investment banker in Moscow, London and Dubai.

Previously Edmund was a solicitor with Milbank Tweed in Moscow and Freshfields and Clifford Chance in London. His early career was spent in HM Diplomatic Service with postings in Paris, Dakar and Amman. He was educated in Oxford, London, Moscow and Paris and speaks Russian.

He is a non-executive director of Chagala Ltd, Saddleback Mining Ltd, GCRC 1 Ltd, a Governor of Ardingly College and a member of the Association of Conservative Peers.

He is a member of the Audit and Remuneration committees.
